Cooking Hamton Sausages

In response to requests from some of our patrons, we have uploaded this short instructional video on the proper way of cooking Hamton Sausages.

To better appreciate this presentation, we want to note that the methods suggested here primarily consider the amount of available time within which the sausages need to be served at the dinner table.  These suggestions are to ensure that the sausages are cooked just right - not too long; and never under-cooked.

Some of our more senior customers prefer to boil or steam them, completely skipping the frying part.  Personally, I prefer them grilled over charcoal, or to broil them in the oven toaster.  To each his own, where convenience is concerned.

The Hamton Premium Sausage is a Taiwanese-style fresh sausage; and in terms of texture and cooking methodology, it is completely different from both the local varieties and the typical Cantonese-style lap cheong.  We always start out from the choicest cuts of pork or chicken, with the intended final result a cooked sausage that is tender to the bite and yet full and juicy in its consistency.
